Tia Brazda

Canadian Jazz singer Tia Brazda has been touring across Europe and North America for over a
decade, from Manhattan speakeasies to renowned festivals such as the Montreux Jazz festival
and Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. Whole Note Magazine says, “You won’t find
another singer who vocalizes music – including this classic music – quite like Tia Brazda…she
has a fully formed style that is wholly her own.” Her original compositions regularly receive
airplay on Jazz FM, CBC Radio and have been featured on the UK’s BBC Radio, Italy’s Rai
Radio 1, Radio France and Spotify editorial playlists. In addition to performing jazz, Brazda’s
voice has been featured on ads for Sleep Country Canada, TD Bank, Homesense and more.
With an academic background spanning music and literature (Douglas College, New
Westminster & York University, Toronto) Brazda has a passion for teaching singing as well as
songwriting. “In our lessons, we will focus on musicianship, performance and creative
expression. I encourage students to discover their own voice, their own style and experience joy through music.”

Fabiola Cacciatore

Fabiola is a long-time artist, singer, composer and lyricist in both English and French, known for her stage presence and having sung and performed for audiences as large as 43,000 at the Québec National Celebration. Her song “Billie Vit” was winner of Québec en Chanson, sponsored by CHOI-FM, which held 1st place on radio stations across Canada and became number one on the Quebec music charts. Fabiola has toured, performed and presented at festivals and television, including opening for artists Richard Adams, Jano Bergeron, Martine Chévrier, Luc De Larochellière, Monique Fauteux, Daniel Lavoie, and many more. She is a member of the following artist associations: Union des artistes (UDA), Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), APEM, OPIC/CIPO SACEF, SODRAC, SPACQ.

Sarah Gibbons

Originally from St. John’s Newfoundland, Sarah is an energetic and passionate vocal coach, piano teacher, actor, singer/songwriter, music producer and inclusive arts educator. She holds her Masters in Music Theatre from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a Performance Diploma from the Randolph College of Performing Arts in Toronto. Growing up, Sarah sang many genres of music while training as a soloist and also singing in and leading choirs in her community. As an accomplished stage actor and singer, she has worked professionally across the country and has been nominated for a Dora Mavor Award and Best Actor for the Broadway World Awards. Sarah enjoys teaching music to children and people of all ages from beginners to professional artists, tailoring lessons to their specific needs, while focusing on musicality and having fun!

Meghan Harwood

Meghan Harwood is a certified vocal coach specializing in student-led coaching which focuses on supporting and empowering students to achieve their goals. She believes that every student is unique and requires customized support that is tailored to their own specific needs and interests. Lessons with Meghan are fun and interactive, and will help you feel more comfortable and confident with your voice. Meghan attended the Musical Theatre program at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in Toronto and has completed the Royal Conservatory of Music voice exams. She placed in the top three at the Kiwanis Music Festival in Toronto, and has worked with acclaimed Broadway performers Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde the Musical), Kara Lindsay (Disney on Broadway’s Newsies), and Samantha Pauly (Six the Musical).

Zach Oliver

Zach Oliver is a singer-songwriter based in Toronto, originally from England. He’s a touring musician and has been recording and releasing his own music for over 4 years. Zach graduated from the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College where he learned to write, engineer and produce music, as well as the ins and outs of the music industry. Zach has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old and has been teaching since he left college. His goal as a teacher is to ensure that the students are learning the kind of music that they love and that they’re expanding their knowledge of guitar in their own unique way. He is flexible in the kind of music he can teach and will have you jamming along to your favourite tunes in no time!

Skye Alexander

With over ten years of experience teaching singing and music basics, Skye is a supportive and encouraging teacher who loves working with song lovers of all ages. She has a lifelong passion for folk and traditional music, and enjoys discovering the musical theater and pop songs that bring her students joy. She earned a Bachelor’s and Masters in Music from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where she was honoured with Outstanding Musical Performance and Academic Achievement Awards. She studied voice at the Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute in San Francisco and the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Bonefro, Italy. Her EP of original songs, Ten Mile Creek, was recorded on Vancouver Island in 2022.

Jacob Foan

Jacob Foan is an award-winning Singer, Songwriter, Pianist and Producer – originally from the UK – and currently based in Vancouver. Jacob has a Masters from Goldsmith’s University, London. He has toured the UK and Europe, performed live on the BBC multiple times, and won a US Reality TV Show. He also wrote, produced and starred in his own Musical Film called ‘Don’t Let Go’, which included his signature song I Hate That I Love You. Walter Afanasieff (the writer/producer behind Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, Hero and Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On) said in a recent interview with Jacob: “You can hear the passion and compassion in Jacob’s haunting voice. By far the most genius thing I’ve heard in many, many years.”

Kady Evanyshyn

Canadian mezzo-soprano Kady Evanyshyn is championing the crossroads of classical opera and contemporary vocal music. She has been hailed by the New York Classical Review for her “lovely, dramatic voice”, and by Musical America for her “delectable” musical interpretations. Kady joined the Hamburg Staatsoper’s International Opera Studio at the start of the 2019/20 season, where she debuted as Glascha (Kát’a Kabanová). She has performed internationally at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Holland Park, L’Opéra Royal de Versailles, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Theater, and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, among others. Kady earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music from The Juilliard School, where she was granted the John Erskine prize for exceptional scholastic and artistic achievement.
Kady’s past seasons include a combination of music old and new, from Purcell and beyond. Past roles include: Zweite Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Sändmannchen (Hänsel und Gretel), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), Claire (Cold Mountain – West coast premiere), Frau Reich (Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor), and Annio (La clemenza di Tito). She is an alumnus of the Aspen Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, and Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy.
As an avid lover of contemporary art song, Kady most recently workshopped and performed Stefan Schäfer’s “Es war einmal” in October 2019 at the Hamburg Staatsoper. Other recent highlights include: Bach’s Ich habe genug, BWV 82 (Miller Theatre), Gervasoni’s Drei Grabschriften (world premiere), Berio’s Folk Songs (Alice Tully Hall), Druckman’s Animus II (Juilliard ChamberFest), and Edgar David Grana’s Tashi Tibet (National Opera Center). In previous seasons Kady has worked with ensembles such as the Kronos Quartet, Baroklyn, and the ÆON Music Ensemble.
Kady is a passionate educator, having worked with many private students over the years. She has hosted master classes in London, New York, South Carolina, and her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She looks forward to helping the next generation of young classical artists find their unique voice.

David Lane

David Lane has spent the past 7 years touring the globe with his internationally recognized a cappella groups Cadence (Toronto) and Duwende (New York City), with whom he has appeared on America’s Got Talent, opened for Jay Leno, and performed with artists such as Bobby McFerrin and David Clayton-Thomas. He has also toured with the multi-grammy winning group, The Swingles. David completed a Bachelor of Music in Jazz performance at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University in Newfoundland, before settling in the Greater Toronto Area.

Hailing from Red Deer, Alberta, David’s musical life began by taking piano lessons from his mother, as well as singing in an elementary school choir. Once in middle school, he took a hiatus from piano and voice to explore saxophone and drums. He ended up playing drums in the rhythm section of his high school choirs, at which point his love of piano and voice was reignited. After high school, David left Western Canada to attend the School for Music Vocations in Iowa. It was here that David developed a passion for jazz piano and voice, as well as small ensemble vocal jazz singing. David went on to complete a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) in Jazz performance at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, focussing on voice and piano. While at St. FX, he also sang and played shows in a variety of student-led projects, ranging from beatboxing (a natural merging of his love of voice and percussion) in a hip-hop group, to playing synthesizers and keyboards in a Funk band. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University in Newfoundland, before settling in the Greater Toronto Area. He has spent the past 7 years touring the globe with his internationally recognized a cappella groups Cadence (Toronto) and Duwende (New York City), with whom he has appeared on America’s Got Talent, opened for Jay Leno, and performed with artists such as Bobby McFerrin and David Clayton-Thomas. He has also toured with the multi-grammy winning group, The Swingles. When not on the road, David enjoys keeping his fingers in many different musical pies by singing in choirs, playing keyboards in a Sci-Fi funk band, working as a singer-for-hire for touring groups, and adjudicating, teaching or workshopping choirs and school groups in the GTA.

With over 20 years of experience performing with orchestras, various bands, theatre productions, writing for tv, & film and award winning pop and folk artists, her eclectic background provides a spectrum of styles and experience in pop, jazz, R&B, soul, rock and folk.

She was signed in Toronto as a singer and songwriter with OLE. Rebecca collaborated with many writers and recorded and performed in Canada, Nashville, LA, NY, Europe, Japan and the middle east. Her songs have been on JUNO nominated records (Shiloh, Jimmy Rankin) and been on many TV shows such as Katy Keene, Degrassi: Lost Girl, CH Live, CBC, Next Star.
